Which Massage Is Right For You?

Massage isn't just for relaxation anymore.  It has been proven over the years to aid in the relief of pain associated with many conditions such as migraines, headaches, shoulder injuries, insomnia, low back pain, and many more.  Whether you’re  stressed, tense, have a chronic condition or recovering from an injury, massage therapists can work with you to achieve your goal of recovering back to health.  The different types of massage includes:

 

SWEDISH RELAXATION

Swedish massage is the basic massage aimed for the purpose of relaxation.  Light to deep pressure is applied throughout the area to evoke a relaxation response.  This method reduces pain, helps you relax and recoup your strength.

 

DEEP TISSUE

This method involves lifting and squeezing muscle tissue to release stress related deep or chronic pain.  It may be slightly uncomfortable at first but the effects of relaxation lasts for several days or perhaps even weeks.  The benefits of this method includes increase circulation, increase range of motion and improves detoxifying functions of the lymphatic system.

 

Injury Treatment

Massage can be an effective treatment for a number of conditions:  myofascial pain, poor circulation, sprain/strain, low back pain, sciatica, neck pain, headaches, migraines, carpal tunnel syndrome, frozen shoulder and many more...
